This is a softer, laid back track with a swing in its step. The main groove is straightforward and simple, with a swung backbeat and the occasional simple fill. It is broken up by a syncopated fill that acts as a hook before returning to the main pattern. This happens again before a ride cymbal is introduced. The beat remains simple with a few drum fills added for effect. After the syncopated fill, the beat breaks down to just hi-hat for a few bars. The drum track has one more verse, then ends with the familiar fill.
