This track starts out with just some cymbals and the occasional kick for the intro. About 20 seconds in, the full beat kicks in with hi-hat, snare and kick. Just before the minute mark, the pattern changes slightly in the kick drum before returning to the original pattern after a few bars. A quick break leads into a ride cymbal pattern starting at 1:50. Later on, the subdued cymbal work of the intro returns, then a snare drum played in 16th notes builds back into the ride cymbal groove that holds on to the end.
