Starting out with a cross-stick pattern with hi-hat and kick drum in 5/4, this track has a distinct latin jazz/fusion feel. Snare and rim-click patterns trade off, adding variation to the dynamics of the track as fills and cymbal crashes are tastefully inserted. Later in the track the ride cymbal provides a steady backdrop before everything but the hi-hat drops out during a quieter interlude.

I really enjoyed this track. The 5/4 timing made it interesting to come up with interesting parts
