This funk shuffle includes lots of ghost notes and grooves very hard. It starts out with some closed hi-hat, then switches over to the ride, continuing with the funky ghost notes while keeping the cymbal hits at steady quarter notes. After switching back and forth between ride and hi-hat a few times, the ghost notes drop out and the beat is straightforward for a few bars. It drops out altogether for a bit of silence, then comes storming back in with the ghost note-heavy groove with the ride cymbal till the ending fill.
