This is a slow country track in 4/4 that progresses as the song unfolds. Staring off with 8 bars of cymbal work for the intro to slowly build into the song. It progresses to a standard kick snare pattern with steady eight note high hat hits. The snare starts out with a nice side stick pattern and progresses into a straight ahead groove with standard snare hits. The fills in this track are very conventionally played, but in a way that supports this type of groove perfectly. This is the best choice for an Americana track, country or even a slow pop rock ballad. This simple stated track overall keeps the same tone dynamically, and ends up with 2 bars of cymbal work on the end to tie the end to the beginning.
