"I'll Be Your Man" is an upbeat country shuffle that starts out with a fill and goes into a snare/ghost note groove with the occasional kick drum hit. Eventually, a hi-hat played with the foot keeps time. Cool fills and embellishments are scattered throughout as this drum beat continues. About 1:15 the kick drum comes in on every other beat to keep time as well. Eventually, the ghost notes disappear and a ride cymbal comes in, only to switch over to a crash as the track builds in intensity. At 2:30 it's stripped down to just hi-hat and kick drum, until a big, long fill brings it back to the snare shuffle groove of the beginning.
