Brushes are the star of this drum track, with an upbeat country shuffle being tapped out on the snare as a simple kick drum pattern helps keep it moving, occasionally dropping out to let the snare alone do the talking for a few beats. Cymbal hits here and there decorate the beat, which is often stopping for a few beats and then restarting. This happens a lot particularly towards the end of the drum track, when the beat drops out and returns many times, as though it's just asking for a pedal steel lick to fill the gaps.

Superb recording sonics, fantastic groove and wonderful brush work which is why i purchased it. It actually didn't fit the client's tune (I needed a half time train feel at 137) so I time stretched (no pitch change) the track down to 68.5 and reinforced the ghost brush hits and kick w/ Addictive Drums. It works great.
I have future plans to cut something new with the 105 track. I would love to know if Northside has 1, 2,3, 4 and bar tom fills with the same brush kit. The sound he got was phenomenal.

just what i needed. i had to do a bit of editing to structure, and i found the kick placements somewhat problematic. still, super feel, and very organic.
